"Cloud Age Symphony" is a hypnotic, techno song featured as the opening to the anime Last Exile, a pretty well rated anime that I have yet to see, unfortunately. But, just like the opening to Serial Experiments Lain, this opening generally reflects the nature of the series itself. Or so I'd like to think.
I don't know much about the artist behind the song, but the animation along with the music, gives the anime a very futuristic feel, even though the bagpipes in the beginning suggest otherwise. Which gives it a nice touch. It makes it "unique." And in the end, results in a very good looking opening. But taking into account that the anime was made like ten years ago, that is pretty impressive.
